Field Sales Representative

Field Sales Representatives are responsible to prospect and generate new business. This position requires cold calling, sales visits, and presentations to new prospective accounts in the field to generate new sales.

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of AgYield’s services and pricing structure.
• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
• Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs.
• Meet or exceed the new business sales goals.
• Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations
• Complete required Customer Service Agreements, reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
• Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Must have Agriculture background –understanding of Futures markets and crop insurance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Previous cold calling experience.
• Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
• Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
• Must have reliable transportation.



Account Representative

Clarendon Hills, IL

Account Representatives are responsible for servicing existing AgYield customers. This position requires maintaining customer relations, monitoring performance, and managing risk.

• Service and support agricultural clients
• Understand and communicate AgYield’s philosophies
• Advise clients with respect to market risk and opportunity
• Understand futures and options risk management strategies
• Service daily client needs

• Must have a BA in a related field.
• Series III license
• Two to four years of related sales experience preferred
• Comfortable with phone customer support
• Must operate well in a team/collaborative environment
• Familiarity with agricultural Futures and Options markets
• Strong understanding of Futures and Options strategies
• Must be comfortable using CRM database software
• Strong analytical skills preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
